Prestressing Projects Prestressed Construction General Process

Step 1: Prestressed Materials Preparation

Prepare Prestressed Anchorage: In China we most use 15.24mm(0.6") diameter anchorage, sometime we also use 12.7mm(0.5") anchorage. The common type used for T Type Box Girder or Cast-in-site cast-in-situ beams, etc. is Multistrands Anchorage System, Flat Anchorage System, Monostrand Anchorage, etc. The details model as followings:  

PT Wedges(Three Parts PT Wedges or Two Parts PT Wedges)

Multistrands Anchorage: 2 strands to 55 strands for bridge construction such as 3 strands, 4 strands, 5 strands, 6 strands, 8 strands, 9 strands, 10 strands, 12 strands, 15 strands, 19 strands, 22 strands, etc.

Flat Anchorage System: 2 strands, 3 strands, 4 strands, 5 strands.
