There following my last article 6, this article mainly introduce the post-tensioning and prestressing technology and steps in bridges and building construction for civil work.

According to the regulations of CRCC(China Railways Production Certification Center)and CCPC(China Communications Certificate Center). The prestressing components need to by tested before leave factory and stressing equipment, especially for stressed jack and pump must be calibrated in factory or quality testing center.This can guarantee the materials, components, and pt equipment is qualified and good quality for bridge and buildings construction.

The following steps are how to install and operate stressed jack and pump for bridge and building construction

Step 1: Installation working anchor block, working wedges, anchor bearing plate. spiral reinforcing rings, if there is continuous beams it need to install multi-strands anchor coupler(include anchor coupler body, working wedges, anchorbearing plate, spiral spring rings, pocket former, constrain rings, dead end anchor)swages anchors).

Step 2: After installation of stressed end anchor system, it need to install stressed jack and pump, then install stressing tools such as tooling anchor head, tooling wedges, and limited board, etc.

Usually, the tension force and pressure gauges will be calibrated in factory or local quality testing and inspection bureau.It vary from different prestressing projects, the operator should be strictly obey the tension regulation and must be careful in tesnion work in case happen accidents. Especially, the front of strands are forbidden stand any people. And must be marked"safety" principle around the worksite.

We manufacture stressed jack and pump for monostrand stressing(from 10 tons to 30 tons, suitable for tensioning single strand 12.7mm diameter and 15.24mm diameter pc strand), and for multistrands stressing( from 30 tons to 1200 tons, suitable for 15.24mm and 12.7mm 2 nos of pc strands to 55 nos pc strands).

But in modern stressing work,we have developed new technology, it is intelligent tension machine. Use this intelligent tension system it can be more precise, more safe, and more efficient in tension work. Because all operation is controlled by computer, and one person can manage all process. Article 6: Prestressing Equipment and Stressing Work for Civil Bridge and Buildings Construction

Following my last article 5, this article is mainly introduction the stressing equipment and work in bridge and building construction. We use Post-Tension method and Pre-stressing Method and technology for bridge or building construction.

Post-Tension work for bridge in China is applied tensioning from two side of bridge girders, use two jack installed both two sides to tension simultaneously. We supply post-tension jack and pump from 24 tons to 1200 tons.

Pre-tension method is usually used in prestressed concrete work,such as precast factory, precast bed slab, bridges hogging moment, etc. We supply 24 tons and 27 tons monostrand jack, 65 tons to 1000 tons lifting jack for pre-tension work.

Continuous Bridge Girders

In bridges girders, especially for railway, high-speed railway, highway projects, the continuous bridge girder is for purpose of linking beams and girders, it is very important part in bridge construction. We often use multistrands anchor coupler for continuous bridge girder. Our multistrands anchor coupler ranges have single anchor coupler, multistrands anchor coupler from 2 holes to 55 holes.

The multistrands anchor coupler include: anchor coupler body, dead end anchor(swages anchor), anchor coupler bearing plate, spiral spring rings, wedges, constrain rings, pocket former( we usually use metal materials pocket former).

Article 5: Prestressed Anchor, Prestressing Equipment and Stressing Equipment for Civil Bridge Construction

This article is brief introduction of what materials need to use and how to install stressing equipment in bridges construction.

Following my last article 4, after installation prestressed strand and steel duct. The next step is prepare prestressed anchor such as stressed end anchor and dead end anchor system, stressed end anchor include stressed end anchor block, working wedges, anchor bearing plate, and spiral reinforcement rings. Dead end anchor system include dead end anchor(or somewhere called "swages") springs, dead end steel plate, and spiral reinforcement rings.

We supply stressed anchor ranges and models as followings:

Stressed end multistrands anchor system: from 2 strands to 55 strands.

Stressed end monostrand anchor system: for 12.7mm or for 15.24mm prestressed strand.

Stressed end flat anchor system: for 2 strands, 3 strands, 4 strands, 5 strands.

Stressed end ground anchor system: for mining, dams,anchor drilling, rock and slope reinforcement.

Dead end anchor system: from 1 strands to 55 strands, etc.

Post-Tension in bridge construction is usually taken tensioning from two sides(one side is stressing-end, and the other side is dead end).

Sometimes will use 5mm, 7mm, 9mm diameter pc steel wire and 18mm, 25mm, 28mm, 32mm steel rebar anchor in prestressing work. PC steel wire is also used in prestressed concrete work such as precast factory, hollow core slab, concrete pole, concrete column, etc.PC Steel Wire is used tensioned by monostrand jack such as QYC270 monostrand jack, YDC240(24 tons) monostrand jack, etc. We also supply power pack(stressed pump) for monostrand stressing work.

The steel rebar anchor is mostly used in bridges construction and buildings construction, the steel bar anchor system including: screw nuts, steel bar, anchor bearing plate, spiral reinforcing ring. Steel rebar anchor tensioned by YDC series of Hollow Plunger Jack, such as from YDC1000(100 tons) to YDC1200(1200 tons). We also supply its power pack(stressed pump) for post tension and prestressing.
